Scenic Hills Baptist Church has been a part of the community for over 40 years. The church was built in the year 1980. Pastor Gary Evans started and pastored the church for 30 years, until he passed the mantle to Pastor Matthew Cox. The church has always strived to be a light to the community,  to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to help families and individuals grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ through the Word of God.
